(PLTM) - Two sisters are currently facing a charge of common assault, after they allegedly attacked another female in the parking lot of Crystal’s Night Club in Road Town, on July 10th, 2016.
Tira Hodge, 27, and her younger sister, made an appearance at the Magistrate’s Court sometime last week, when both pleaded not guilty to the offence.
According to the crown, the victim in this matter left the establishment with a friend and proceeded towards her vehicle. The Hodge sisters, while in their own vehicle, drove and stopped adjacent the female’s vehicle and saw her with a male, identified as her boyfriend.
The court heard that Tira made a comment to the female, of which obtained a response.
Both Tira and her sister then allegedly left their vehicle and attacked the female, brutally beating her.
The court heard that the female suffered swelling and other injuries to her face and injuries to her nose, as her nose ring was apparently violently removed as a result of the tussle.
The sisters were offered bail in the amount of $30,000 with 1 surety and are scheduled to make another appearance on July 4 to begin trial for the matter.
