(PLTM) - Both the Althea Scatliffe Primary School (ASPS) and the Alexandrina Maduro Primary School (AMPS) walked away victorious from this year’s Inter-Primary School Sporting Championships.
As a result of the sporting events which occurred on March 15 and 16 at the A. O. Shirley Recreational Grounds, Althea Scatliffe Primary emerged with the title for Division A of the competition, with a massive 433 points, while Alexandrina Maduro Primary secured the Division B title, with 304 points.
In the other top five places for Division B, Leonora Delville Primary School finished just behind AMPS with 268 points. They were followed by the Ivan Dawson Primary School (257), Robinson O’Neal Memorial (205), and Isabella Morris Primary School with (190).
In Division A, ASPS led by a long margin, with their second placers Willard Wheatley Primary amassing a total of 311.
In the other positions were Joyce Samuel Primary with 273 points, Ebenezer Thomas with 272 and Francis Lettsome Primary with 267.
