(PLTM) - Primary schools from across the Territory are now engaged in a head to head sporting battle, as their students compete in the 2017 Inter-Primary School Championships, which began today, March 15 at the A. O. Shirley Recreational Grounds.
The event, which spans over the course of two days, will see students representing their respective schools while competing in various track and field events.
The competition kicked off with activities and races for students between Grades 2-6, from schools who have an enrollment of less than 100 students. These schools make up Division B of the competition.
Division A with the bigger schools will commence activities tomorrow, March 16.
Winners of both divisions will be announced and awarded tomorrow, at the competition’s closing ceremony.
