Gunmen Strike Again

Another business establishment in the city was robbed this evening, Thursday, December 15, 2016.

Information reaching BVI Platinum News is that Billy's Superette in Long Bush was the target of an armed robbery, as masked men entered the premises and demanded money.

According to information, the men came on foot.

At the time, persons were reportedly in the area.

No report of injuries was made.

Police are on the scene carrying out investigations.

This comes under 24 hours after Delta Petroleum Gas Station in Pasea Estate was robbed by a gunman around 3:00 am, where the masked man shot the glass door to gain entry. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during this incident.

So the police dept. doesn't see that they need to step up their mobile patrols in the community?

Obviously the "thieves" seem to think they don't have to worry about it.
