(PLTM) - Teams remain to go head to head in this year's BVI Football Association Men’s League, where targets are being blocked and the aim of dethroning Islanders seems quite farfetched.
Out of last weekend’s games, November 26-27, Old Madrid’s dream of being in the top four was shattered with a 3-0 defeat from One Love.
All the goals were scored in the second half of the game, thanks to One Love’s Richard Morgan in the 64rd minute, followed by Trevor Ellis in the 75th minute and Uriah Junior Baptiste in the 87th.
The weekend also saw Rebels securing second place on the standings, thanks to a 4-1 win against the Panthers.
The winning goals were scored by Carlos Septus, Kevaugn Watson, Elijah Toulon and Atebe Creese, whilst Andrew Morrison netted for Panthers.
The Islanders remain on top of the charts and still unbeaten, with their latest victims being Wolues, with a 5-1 defeat.
Islanders Joshua Lynch netted twice in the second half, followed by Rohan Lennon and Kevin Fisher (2).
