(PLTM) - Curtis Eddy was ordered to pay a fine of $3,085 following an incident where he collided into two other vehicles.
In an appearance last Friday, November 18, the accused, who faced charges of driving without due care and attention, and driving an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle, was ordered to pay $1100 to the court in relation to the charges. He was also fined an additional $350 and $1635, to be paid as compensation to the owners of each vehicle, who incurred damages as a result of the incident.
According to the crown, in October 2015 while driving his scooter down the Blackburn public road, heading east, the accused lost control. He collided into a vehicle that was heading west and then collided into another that was travelling east.
The accused subsequently fell from the bike and suffered an injury to his leg.
