(PLTM) - A family residing in Baughers Bay was robbed of their cellular phones, bank cards and cash over the weekend by two armed masked males. The owner of the home reported that he had left his premises early Saturday morning, October 8, leaving his family at home. He then returned soon after to find the assailants in his home. One demanded money from the occupants while the other searched the premises. No injuries were sustained. One of the perpetrators is described as 6’3, while the other is said to be around 5’11. Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are currently conducting investigations into the matter. The police is appealing to the public for information that could be helpful with inquiries into this matter. Persons can contact CID through the RVIPF 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. Persons can also report the information anonymously to Crime Stoppers through its Miami-based hotline number 800-TIPS (8477).
