Woman Beaten For Meddling

(PLTM) - Lesroy Connor is facing a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm after he attacked and badly beat his Baughers Bay neighbor over her meddling.

The incident stems from a conversation the complainant had with Connor's daughter.

Two days after the conversation with the daughter of the accused, on August 15th 2013, the complainant was allegedly approached by the accused, who shouted, “Aye, as big people you need to stop making joke with children.”

Later on, the complainant was approached again by the accused, who shouted, “You stinking *****, making trouble with children all about the place."

It was at this point the accused left his vehicle and attacked the complainant.

In accordance with the testimony given by the victim, the accused allegedly encaged her next to a lamp post by blocking her with his vehicle and opening the door. From then on, he held her in her throat and began slapping and punching her.

In attempt to escape the beating, she crouched down and tried to slide under the door of the open vehicle, but the accused grabbed her and started to punch her in her stomach.

The screams of the accused were heard by a couple nearby, who came and held Connor away from the victim.

At this point, the court heard that the accused kicked the complainant in her chest, which caused her to urinate almost immediately.

As a result of the attack, the woman suffered swelling and bruising to her face, chest and stomach, in addition to other issues due to the bruises on her stomach walls.

The matter will resume on December 5th, when Connor, who is representing himself, will cross examine the victim.
