(PLTM) - Police have arrested and charged Michael Jack in connection with the theft of an iPhone 6 at a business establishment on August 14th, 2016.
Jack, 28, of Little Apple Bay, is charged with theft and was granted police bail with one surety.
According to information, a customer forgot their iPhone 6 at the business place on the day in question. Jack, who went into the establishment, allegedly picked up the phone and left with it.
Information is that Jack was arrested last week after security footage allegedly showed that he picked up the phone.
According to reports, Jack is claiming that his intention was to return the phone to the owner, but he was busy.
The phone, which he allegedly had in his possession for some two weeks, was recovered.
Jack will appear in court on November 4th, 2016 where he will be arraigned.
