(PLTM) - Following a sincere apology to the court and to the complainants in the matter, Jessica George, who recently pleaded not guilty on charges of assault and threatening language, changed her position when she made an appearance in court yesterday, September 7th 2016.

“Sorry for my bad attitude. It is my fault and it was inappropriate what I did. I want to change my pleas,” she told the court.

George, who is a native of the Dominican Republic, then pleaded guilty to the charges of common assault on a woman and assaulting a police officer.

Her not guilty plea to a charge relating to threatening language remained as is, as she informed the court, “I don’t remember saying anything to the police, only hitting them.”

According to the details, officers reported that while apprehending the accused, she said, “Don't close no door for me. I go kill you. I don't fraid no police.”

All incidents occurred on August 24th 2015 on Flemming Street.

Although the particulars of the matter were not fully disclosed, the court noted that the charges stem from an altercation between the accused and another female.

Georges will receive sentencing at her next appearance on October 5th 2016.
