(PLTM) - Julan ‘Iron Fist’ Brown, still revved up from his recent win, is anxious for his upcoming fights.

Brown was announced winner by technical knockout in the 3rd round of the boxing match hosted last evening, August 31st at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town.

Browne, 32, and a national of Jamaica, represented the British Virgin Islands against another boxer from Jamaica, known as Iron Dog.

Browne noted that he intends to represent the BVI throughout his career.

In an interview with BVI Platinum News, Brown explained that this fight was very crucial to his life, as it was the start of his career as a professional boxer.

In 3 to 5 years time, Brown expressed that he will be the world boxing champion. Until then, he has already scheduled other fights with representatives from Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.

Brown is a Prison Officer by profession, has been dabbling in the boxing arena since 2004.

He disclosed that his love for boxing came out of his training in martial arts.

“I started out in martial arts since I was 18 in Jamaica, but I used to get disqualified a lot because I was too aggressive, so I picked up boxing where I could use my aggression.”
